Matthew Zadok Williams

Attorney Mawuli Davis of Davis Bozeman Law Firm in Decatur, Georgia is representing the family in our pursuit of justice for Zadok’s death.  In short, on April 12, 2021, a new neighbor falsely reported that Zadok was a trespasser after seeing him walking on his property in the back of his condo. Zadok had locked himself out and was looking for his keys. He experienced a mental health crisis after being approached by Dekalb County, Georgia police officers as he stood on the front porch of the property that he owned.  Zadok subsequently retreated in his own home where a police officer kicked the door open, fired 4 shots into his home for no reason, and left him there to die without rendering medical aid.  Zadok’s mother was not notified of Zadok’s killing until nearly 24 hours later.  Zadok was only 35 years old and had owned his home since 2009.
